Welcome to the Faculty of Health Sciences at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV.

We invite you to become a part of our extraordinary and diverse community of faculty, staff, and students. At the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), we share a common vision—to improve the health and well-being of all people, in collaboration with local, national and global communities, researchers, and partners.

At FHS, faculty and students are engaged in training and research that seeks solutions to address several critical public health challenges facing our communities – local and global. Our research spans a wide range of topics including: mental health and addictions; infectious and chronic diseases; and, planetary health, which examines challenges to health and well-being from climate change and environmental contaminants. Our learners and investigators strive to improve health services for equity-deserving populations, design livable and sustainable urban environments, and develop equitable social and health policies and practices.

We offer several degrees that are accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH), including Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts undergraduate programs, along with Master in Public Health, Master of Science, and PhD graduate studies programs. Our alumni are equipped with the skills required to adapt to the changing needs of a health-related workforce, and our uniquely interdisciplinary programs enable our graduates to tackle complex societal challenges with the required breadth of knowledge.

Come visit us and get to know the remarkable faculty, staff, and students who make the community at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Health Sciences vibrant, engaging, collaborative, and well-respected.
