Are you looking for services that help you with daily living activities, such as getting groceries, preparing meals, picking up prescriptions, or walking your dog? There are services and supports available in communities that can help you. 

Technological solutions developed by AAL projects over the past 10 years are now available in the market to support older adults as they navigate COVID-19 and have increasing needs for connectedness, safety and security.

The COVID-19 Solutions Guide provides an easy-to-follow overview of what’s going on in the world & relevant resources and tools to respond to the impact of COVID-19. #$12.10 CAD / $8.95 USD

Aging 2.0 provides resources and solutions that could help older adults to stay home, healthy and hopeful. 

This program matches seniors who need non-medical support to volunteers in their community who are willing to help. Non-medical support includes grocery shopping and delivery, meal preparation and delivery, prescription pickup and delivery, and laundry services. #BC

The Better at Home program is designed to help older adults with simple day-to-day tasks, including grocery shopping. Find your community organization that provides services . #BC

Alexandra Neighbourhood House is supporting residents in South Surrey and White Rock who are self-isolating or quarantined during COVID-19 with activities of daily living, such as grocery shopping, dog-walking, and social contact. #South Surrey #White Rock

Shaw is providing free WIFI to support Canadians stay connected to the workplace, family and friends. This service provides opportunities for seniors to stay connected with their family and friends.

This program helps homebound older adults and people with disabilities with grocery shopping. Call a designated order line to place an order. Volunteers will then pick up and deliver the groceries to your home. #Metro Vancouver
