LEADS Project | Responding to the BC Vaccine Card Rollout
As part of the LEADS: Learning, Equity, Aging, Digital for Seniors project, ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV STAR and conducted a rapid evaluation of the BC vaccine card rollout amongst the community members at The 411 in Vancouver. The team listened to peoples’ various experiences with the vaccine card rollout and how community-driven organizations, like The 411, are finding creative ways to respond to the digital divide across government and other sectors to ensure inclusion of all older adults. Through community-based participatory action research, the team worked together to capture the emerging issues to communicate various challenges experienced by older adults to the governmental sectors.
