Students from an Indigenous partner community interested in joining the Indigenous Languages Program (INLP) must first apply for admission to 間眅埶AV through our 間眅埶AV process.
Please order official transcripts to be sent to 間眅埶AV INLP Office as soon as possible for admission and/or transfer credit assessment.

Readmission criteria
If you meet any one of the following criteria, you must apply for readmission to 間眅埶AV:
- Completed a 間眅埶AV Program
- Have a 間眅埶AV credential
- Have been away from 間眅埶AV from more than three consecutive academic terms and attended post-secondary institutions for academic study

Full-time cohort deadline: April 30, 2024
Part-time cohort deadline: 12 noon, May 15, 2023
Official transcripts pertaining to your application must be received by INLP by June 30, 2024. if you have not ordered it already at the time you submitted your application.

OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS
Official transcripts pertaining to your application for Fall 2024 admission must be received by the INLP Office prior to and no later than June 30th, 2024.
If you have not ordered the Official Transcript already at the time you submitted your application to our office, please order it well before June 30th.

Spring 2025 Application Deadlines
Full-time cohort deadline: October 30, 2024Part-time cohort deadline: November 15, 2024
Official transcripts pertaining to your application must be received by INLP by Friday, November 29, 2024 if you have not ordered it at the time you submitted your application.
You may send in an unofficial transcript for our preliminary review. Please remember to order your official transcript from your high school or post-secondary institution by at the time you submitted your application.
UNDERGRADUATE:
Full Time Cohorts: The cohort students are enrolled in a minimum of 9 units of academic credit courses per Academic Term.
Part Time cohorts: The cohort group are enrolled in less than 9 units of academic credit courses per Academic Term.
Full time: A student enrolled in 9 or more units of credit courses in an Academic Term is considered a full time student at 間眅埶AV.
Part time: A student enrolled in 8 or less units of credit courses in an Academic Term is considered a part-time student at 間眅埶AV.
Eg. An INLP course is comprised of 3 units of academic credits. Enrollment of 9 units is the equivalent of three INLP courses.

Aboriginal Peoples
The term 'Aboriginal Peoples' refers to First Nations, M矇tis, and Inuit peoples of Canada.
Regular 間眅埶AV
Aborginal prospective applicants who meet the competitive average and general university requirements should apply directly to their faculty or program of choice. See students.sfu.ca/admission for general university admission requirements.
Indigenous Undergraduate 間眅埶AV and Policy
Aboriginal prospective applicants who do not meet the competitive average set by individual faculties and schools can apply under the . Applicants must normally be high school graduates and meet the general university minimum requirements for admission.
