Sessional Postings

Beedie follows a standard academic policy of two year course planning when assigning instructors. Sessional Instructor openings may be posted up to six terms in advance and postings remain open for two weeks. All positions are subject to budgetary approval and sufficient enrollment. Only those shortlisted will be contacted. Please check back often for updates.

Teaching Assistant Postings

Salary Statement: The expected salary range for TA positions is as follows, by category:

Undergraduate/External Teaching Assistant (UTA/ETA): $1,242 to $6,421.14 (1 to 5.17 BU).
Graduate Teaching Assistant 1 (GTA1 - Master's students): $1,432 to $7,371.14 (1 to 5.17 BU).
Graduate Teaching Assistant 2 (GTA2 - PhD students): $1,630 to $8,521.14 (1 to 5.17 BU).

Spring 2025 Term

The application period for Spring 2025 Beedie School of Business Teaching Assistant, Open Lab Assistant, and Marker positions is from Monday, October 28 to Monday, November 11 (end of day).
