Doaa is a Nubian Afro-Indigenous interdisciplinary artist living on the unceded stolen lands of the x妢m庛k妢ym (Musqueam), S廎硬x戔w繳7mesh (Squamish), St籀:l and Sl穩lwta/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations. Doaas artistic practice coincides with social justice principles, and she is currently pursuing her second M.A. degree at 間眅埶AVs School of Contemporary Arts.

My research interests focus on the exploration of race and female agency in contemporary horror films, and dance as a movement to reclaim cultural identity and dismantle white supremacy within marginalized communities
