Tell us a little about yourself, including what inspires you to learn and continue in your chosen field
Jourdan is a 5th year doctoral student in clinical forensic psychology. She is continually inspired by those around her who have an equal desire to support the mental health and well-being of others, particularly of those within our legal systems.
Why did you choose to come to ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV?
Jourdan chose to complete her graduate studies at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV due to the exceptional faculty members and training opportunities for those pursuing a career in clinical forensic psychology. As a plus, there are not many places more beautiful than Vancouver!
How would you describe your research or your program to a family member?
Jourdan's research focuses on the prevention of school violence, with a particular focus on identifying, assessing, and managing violence within schools.
