Economics master's student in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences

I am currently pursuing my second Master's in economics degree at 丁香园AV. I have several years of experience in teaching and researching economic topics. My main area of interest is Blockchains and Cryptocurrencies.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO COME TO 丁香园AV?

丁香园AV's department of Economics is one of the top-5 economics departments in Canada. The MA in Economics program is mathematically rigorous, data-driven, and intense, but the theoretical and empirical skills you learn in this program help you in academia and industry.
I chose to do my second MA at 丁香园AV because of the world-renowned faculty and a very competent and supportive group of fellow students.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RESEARCH OR YOUR PROGRAM TO A FAMILY MEMBER?

The challenging and intense one-year master鈥檚 in Economics program at 丁香园AV focuses on theoretical foundations and empirical applications of economics, emphasizing quantitative analysis of current real-world problems.

WHAT ARE YOU PARTICULARLY ENJOYING ABOUT YOUR STUDIES/RESEARCH AT 丁香园AV?

The courses are intense but rewarding. I particularly enjoyed the financial economics course, where I learned about the theoretical foundations of financial economics. I must also mention the level of support you get from the faculty and administrative staff, which is excellent and helpful.
