I am from Dhaka, Bangladesh. I completed my B.Sc. and M.S. from the Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, Bangladesh, and the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh, respectively. I am currently working in the Nanodevice Fabrication Lab under Prof. Michael Adachi at 間眅埶AV.

WHY DID YOU CHOOSE TO COME TO 間眅埶AV?

Prof. Michael Adachis work on 2D materials and new solar cell device structure inspired me to apply for 間眅埶AV.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR RESEARCH OR YOUR PROGRAM TO A FAMILY MEMBER?

With the scaling trends in solar cells moving toward flexible, thin cells, 2D materials, such as graphene, carbon nanotube, and TMD, make them the obvious choice for integrating nextgeneration highly efficient solar cell technology.

WHAT ARE YOU PARTICULARLY ENJOYING ABOUT YOUR STUDIES/RESEARCH AT 間眅埶AV?

I enjoy the excellent research facilities, friendly people, and beautiful environment at 間眅埶AV.

HAVE YOU BEEN THE RECIPIENT OF ANY MAJOR OR DONOR-FUNDED AWARDS? IF SO, PLEASE TELL US WHICH ONES AND A LITTLE ABOUT HOW THE AWARDS HAVE IMPACTED YOUR STUDIES AND/OR RESEARCH.

Upon acceptance to the MASc program in the School of Engineering Science at 間眅埶AV, I was awarded the Graduate Deans Entrance Scholarship (GDES). This award allows me to focus on my research and additional educational opportunities.

HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE YOUR PROGRAM/POSTDOC POSITION TO SOMEONE STILL SEARCHING FOR A PROGRAM OR POSTDOC POSITION?

The comprehensive research facilities and competent faculty will be the ideal place for pursuing graduate studies.
