Bhavesh Joshi
Business Administration master's student in the
I come from Mechanical Engineering background (Have completed Bachelor of Engineering from University of Mumbai, India and Masters of Science from New York University, USA) with specialization in project management, building systems design and implementation. Over the past 6 years, I have successfully managed US $700 Million worth of projects as part of US $3 Billion program for Flood resilience measures needed at Hurricane Sandy battered New York Housing Authority (NYCHA.This agency is the biggest landlord in USA). Furthermore, I was the youngest project manager in this program and one of the key highlights during my time was my ability to successfully reduce program cost by way of efficient design, value engineering and not allowing contractors to get away with change orders. The savings was helpful to add new playgrounds for children (This was not part of original project scope due to lack of funds)
