How My Daughter is Helping Me Learn First Nations History and Culture

Bicram Rijal, a PhD candidate in Antropology at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV, discusses how his kindergarten daughter's question got him increasingly interested in Canada's Indigenous culture and history. Rijal reflects on his own journey of learning alongside his daughter about Canada's culture and history from an Indigenous perspective and discuss some of the challenges for the minority Nepali community in Canada in their efforts toward a better understanding of Canada's diverse Indigenous worlds, cultures, and histories.
