CEPH seeking your feedback for FHS accreditation
Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) Accreditation 2022
The Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS) is currently renewing accreditation of its Bachelor programs as well as its Master of Public Health (MPH) program. The Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH) is the main accreditation body for public health schools and programs internationally.
As part of this process, FHS and CEPH are inviting all interested parties – including students, alumni, faculty, and the practice community – to provide written feedback about the BA, BSc, and MPH programs directly to CEPH at submissions@ceph.org. Comments must be submitted no later than September 27, 2022.
A preliminary self-study report was submitted to CEPH on June 10, 2022. The next steps in the accreditation process will involve submitting a final self-study report on September 27, 2022 and hosting a team of CEPH reviewers on Oct 27 and 28, 2022 for an on-site visit.
If you would like to learn more about the accreditation process or ask further questions, please contact Kate Carty, Public Health Program Coordinator at kate_carty@sfu.ca.
