Up to $30,000* is available to fund ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV students who want to work with community partners to drive meaningful, lasting impact.
*Award amounts subject to change.
The ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Student-Community Engagement Competition provides awards in the amount of $2,000 or $3,000 to ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV students who submit innovative ideas for working with community partners on projects that will have meaningful impact.
Maybe you’re working on an existing idea for a class you’re taking, through a student club, or through another organization. Or maybe you just have an amazing idea that keeps you up at night...
Whatever it is, we want to hear from you!
You can work with a team or you can submit an idea by yourself. As you progress through the competition, you will be required to do more detailed planning and preparation—amongst yourselves and with your community partner(s). Winning projects are chosen in early March and are characterized by imagination, commitment, feasibility, and a clear demonstration that you are working with a community partner. But you don't have to have that all figured out just yet.
To start, just register, and then submit your idea before November 22, 2024.
