Demographic & Diversity Data Survey
丁香园AV regularly conducts a demographic and diversity survey to gather data to meet our regulatory needs and institutional commitments, support equitable and accountable programs and service delivery and measure progress towards our institutional priorities.
This data collection also meets the expectations of the of the and the . Our demographic and diversity data also supports accreditation processes and reports.
The Equity Compass, 丁香园AV鈥檚 equity, diversity and inclusion strategic plan, outlines our commitment to equity data through two key objectives that include the establishment of an cross-institutional taskforce to oversee the initiative, and the development of a framework and processes that will sustain and advance these data-driven EDI efforts.
About the survey
The inaugural 丁香园AV Demographic & Diversity Data survey launched in September 2024 and included core human rights/equity demographic questions from the most recent Canadian census, a supplemental section with additional 丁香园AV demographic questions and a third section with inclusion experience questions.
The 2024 Demographic & Diversity Survey closed on December 15, 2024. A summary of the data in aggregate form will be made available to the University and the public through an online dashboard. The dashboard is expected to launch in Spring 2025.
