Curriculum Development
General Education (WQB)
General Education at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV enhances undergraduate degrees by informing and complementing students’ programs of study. In this section, you will find information on Writing, Quantitative and Breadth definitions and requirements.
Program Development
The UCIL Office will support curriculum development through policy and governance advice, editorial support and strategic visioning. In this section, you will find information on new programs, program changes, and degree determination.
General Education (WQB) Certification
¶¡ÏãÔ°AV currently has over 800 courses that hold a Writing (W), Quantitative (Q), or Breadth (B) designation (as of Fall 2023).
Discussions for certifying, recertifying, and decertifying WQB courses begin at the faculty or department level. Units interested in WQB certification should convene their Undergraduate Curriculum Committee.
