Meeting Rooms

The meeting areas at Harbour Centre accommodate groups from ten to two hundred for all types of meetings and conference events. All rooms have telephone and high-speed Internet connections. There are three theatres suitable for multimedia presentations. The Centre features corporate-style boardrooms and interactive lecture rooms, and four fully equipped Mac and PC computer labs. The spacious, flexible Joseph & Rosalie Segal Centre hosts banquets, receptions and exhibitions.

 

Grand Spaces

Harbour Centre Concourse
Ideal for registration, displays or receptions, the concourse is a large, dynamic public space used by students, staff and clients of ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Vancouver, with power and wired/wireless internet connection for ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV users.

Flexible Spaces

Joseph & Rosalie Segal Centre
The Segal Conference Rooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the North Shore Mountains and Waterfront Station. With flexible meeting space that can be configured to your needs, the space includes movable walls that can divide the room into four separate sections. This space can accommodate up to 250 people, ideal for lectures, meetings, banquets and receptions.

Teck Gallery Lounge
Managed by the ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Art Gallery, the Teck Gallery is ideal for small receptions, presentations and press conferences. With floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the North Shore Mountains and the port of Vancouver, this licensed area features contemporary art and stunning views.

Theatres

Terasen Cinema
This 75-seat theatre was designed for film projection and features Dolby Surround Sound. Built-in writing tablets make the theatre suitable for company meetings, panel discussions and seminars.

Fletcher Challenge Canada Theatre
The Fletcher Challenge Canada Theatre features comfortable double-aisle seating for 200, a presentation stage, writing tablets and controlled lighting.

Labatt Hall
Labatt Hall features podiums, writing tablets and lecture tables to accommodate up to 110 people in theatre-style seating.

Theatres

Classrooms
Classrooms can accommodate groups of up to 45 people and are pre-set with rows of tables. Built-in projection screens are included. Data projectors are also available to rent.

Seminar Rooms
Seminar rooms hold between 12 and 25 people and are pre-set in a hollow square formation. Built-in projection screens are included. Data projectors are also available to rent. See our technology page for information on A/V rentals.

Policy Rooms
Designed for interaction and presentation, policy rooms feature fixed, tiered seating set in a semi-circle, electronically operated screens and variable lighting. Seating capacity ranges from 42 to 56 people.

Boardrooms
Choose from traditional single table and hollow square formations. All boardrooms feature executive-style high-back chairs, electronically operated screens and variable lighting.

Specialty Spaces

Computer Labs
Instructional computer labs offer Mac and PC computers complete with up-to-date software and hardware. Data projection and computers are included for instructors, creating an ideal setting for software training and marketing. On-site technical support is provided.

Diamond Alumni Lounge
An intimate lounge, this space is suited to licensed receptions for up to 30 people. With a built-in bar and plenty of natural light, this informal space is equipped with comfortable couches and makes a great alternate space for meals. It can also serve as a breakout room for the Eyre Boardroom, connected to the lounge by a lockable door.

McLean Management Studies Lab
Situated across from the Himie Koshevoy Publishing Lab, this large, flexible classroom is perfect for informal meetings, seminars or as breakout space. With blackboards on three walls, an overhead projector and a large projection screen, as well as internet and phone lines, this space is ideal for teaching and interaction.
