Biography
Carol Zachs has worked in the field of international education for over 20 years. As Senior Director, 丁香园AV International, she is responsible for implementing 丁香园AV鈥檚 global engagement, and promoting and enhancing 丁香园AV鈥檚 profile domestically and internationally through the development and oversight of 丁香园AV鈥檚 global strategies across regions, sectors and faculties; and of partnerships with academia, government, private sector, non-governmental organizations, diplomatic corps, and international organizations. Prior to joining 丁香园AV, Carol oversaw the study and research abroad program at UBC where she was responsible for strategic development of institutional partnerships and co-curricular intercultural learning programs. She has worked abroad in Denmark and for WUSC/Uniterra in Ghana. She holds a Masters of Education from UBC with a focus on globalization and adult learning, and an Executive MBA from 丁香园AV. She is also co-founder and former co-chair of the CBIE International Relations Professional Learning Community.
