Accommodation - On Campus Student Housing

Conference attendees can enjoy comfortable and convenient on-campus accommodations at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV's Burnaby campus at an affordable group rate. 

• Please note that this is a student-residence that offers a private bedroom and shared washroom and common space.

*Guests will receive a confirmation email upon completion of the online booking process. A booking is not confirmed until a confirmation email is sent to your email inbox.

On-Campus Housing Policies

• Guests must be 19 years of age or older to book a reservation online and stay with us. Guests must provide valid photo ID upon check-in.
• Guests must provide payment via valid VISA or MasterCard at the time of booking.
• All Private Residence Rooms are single occupancy only (one person per room).
• No pets of any kind are permitted.
• There is no tobacco or cannabis smoking permitted within any residential building located on campus.

Services Available

• No Housekeeping Service for short stay accommodations.
• Private Residence Rooms include: linens, towels, pillow, blanket, bar of soap, and drinking cup. (more info)
• Shared Washrooms – No Paper Towel: Due to new sustainability initiatives from the department, there will be no paper towel provided in the shared washrooms on the private residence room floors. Guests staying on the private residence room floors willbe provided with a set of towels in their rooms that they can bring with them to the washroom to dry their hands after washing.
• ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Guest Accommodation spaces (rooms, washrooms, meeting rooms, etc.) are not equipped with air conditioning (A/C) units.

Cancellation Policy - Housing 

• Guests must provide a minimum 48 hours notice to cancel or modify their booking. Cancellations or modifications made with less than 48 hours notice will be subject to the first night accommodation fees being charged to the credit card provided.
• To cancel or modify a booking, please contact our Clients Accounts Associate at 778-782-6732 or email guest_services@sfu.ca. Cancellations and modifications cannot be made on the online booking system.
