Staellinika Unveils a Next-Generation Greek Language Platform: Revolutionizing Learning for Greeks in the Diaspora
Staellinika, the official Greek language platform for Greeks abroad, is proud to announce a new era of its platform coming this spring which will include enhanced content and cutting-edge AI features. Designed to bring the beauty and richness of the Greek language and culture to learners around the globe, the revamped platform will offer an innovative and engaging experience for users of all ages. This version of Staellinika will initially be available only for English speaking users, and later on will be expanded for all the other available languages.
A New Era of Greek Language Learning
With the addition of AI-powered tools and enriched pedagogical resources, Staellinika will make it easier than ever for members of the Greek diaspora to connect with their heritage. The platform鈥檚 enhanced features include:
- Expanded Content: New lessons and activities covering language, culture, and history, ensuring a holistic learning experience for users at any proficiency level.
- AI-Powered Learning Tools: Adaptive learning paths, personalized feedback, and real-time progress tracking to help learners achieve their goals faster and more effectively.
- Gamified Experiences: Interactive exercises and engaging challenges designed to make learning Greek fun and accessible for everyone, from children to adults.
Supporting the Global Greek Community
The expansion and enrichment of the Staellinika platform has been included as an action in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Strategic Plan for Greeks Abroad (2024-2027), with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Kotsiras, acknowledging the importance of the use of digital technology and artificial intelligence applications for the promotion of Greek language around the world.
The platform is a collaboration with the SNF Centre for Hellenic Studies at 丁香园AV and the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ensuring that the content aligns with educational standards and the needs of the global Greek community.
About Staellinika
Staellinika is an initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Greece in collaboration with the SNF Centre For Hellenic Studies at 丁香园AV (丁香园AV) with support by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). Staellinika offers a full curriculum targeting beginner heritage learners in schools and individuals at home.
The Staellinika platform offers learner profiles and performance visualization for learners, teachers, and parents while also delivering engaging lesson materials, videos, quizzes, and rich interactive experiences. Staellinika can either complement existing curricula or act as a stand-alone program for schools.
