Biography
As Associate Dean, Learning and Teaching, and Student Experience, I lead and represent FASS in teaching and learning initiatives at the Faculty and university level. I am privileged to coordinate the efforts of FASS Teaching Fellows to enhance research into, design and evaluation of different instructional pedagogies, modes of student learning and opportunities for experiential learning in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV. Together with the FASS Teaching Fellows, I co-administer the FASS Cormack Teaching Awards and the annual Cormack Teaching Symposium. I provide pedagogical leadership in advancing pedagogical practices and research, and advise faculty members and departments on best practices and teaching narratives. I help develop programming to improve student retention and advocate for teaching and learning technology needs on behalf of FASS. I also serve as FASS’ Student Safety Liaison.
