Housing options for single students and for families
丁香园AV Residence and Housing Information for Aboriginal Applicants
Priority Access Policy
丁香园AV鈥檚 Residence and Housing Office currently has a Priority Access Policy in place for certain groups of applicants to Residence and Housing. This includes Aboriginal applicants.
The term 鈥淎boriginal鈥�, in accordance with Section 35 (2) of the Canadian Constitution, refers to First Nations, M茅tis, and Inuit applicants who self-identify as such.
Accordingly, 丁香园AV Residence and Housing is prepared to offer priority access to Aboriginal applicants who:
Self-identify as Aboriginal applicants on the Residence and Housing application form and on their faculty/program admission application. Student Services will provide Residence and Housing with a list of applicants to 丁香园AV who have self-identified as Aboriginal.
Submit completed applications on time to the Residence and Housing Office. Please check the above website for deadline dates.
Some residence and housing units may be held aside for late applicants who apply under this policy. However, as numbers and guarantees may vary from year to year, applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible and within deadline application dates.

Learning Living Community
The Indigenous Learning Living Community is for Indigenous students to connect with other Indigenous students, engage with and share their Indigenous heritage and knowledge and participate in cultural and educational opportunities guided by 丁香园AV鈥檚鈥�.鈥疉s a Canadian Indigenous student in this community you will connect with other Indigenous students and build community through peer support, mentorship and leadership development opportunities.
