Aiden James Allen Serr
January 3, 1998 - November 13, 2017
Aiden was a young, passionate artist, and bright science student. He studied Film Production and Biological Sciences at 間眅埶AV. No矇 Rodr穩guez, his teacher in Film Productions at the School of the Contemporary Arts, described him as the adventuring scientist philosopher artist. In 2017, Aiden lost his life in a tragic car accident.
In memory of Aiden, his photographs, scripts, and thoughts were edited by his mother, Kirsten Urdahl-Serr, and published in a book titled . The revenue from the book has benefited the Aiden Serr Memorial Award. Every year, one undergraduate EVSC student is selected as the recipient of the award. This award is valued at $2400.

qualifications
- You are enrolled full-time in the term of eligibility;
- You are pursuing a bachelor's degree in the School of Environmental Science;
- You are in good academic standing with a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or higher. If you are a new or transfer student, you must possess an equivalent secondary school or college standing; and
- You have shown your dedication to the intersectionality of the disciplines of science and the arts through your personal, academic, or professional engagement.

- Examples that show your engagement and dedication to the intersectionality of the disciplines of science and the arts, such as photos, videos, and/or portfolios
Note
- The award will be granted by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee upon the nomination of the Director, School of Environmental Science or their designate.
- Understanding the donors intent, preference will be given to the student with a demonstrated interest in contemporary arts, or enrolled in another major or a minor in the School for the Contemporary Arts or in the Communication minor in the School of Communication.
