Shawn is one of seven recipients of this years Fiona Kirkby Award from the British Society of Geomorphology. The award is given based on recommendations from the Editorial Board for the journal 

Recipients of the award are recognized for outstanding contributions to the journal for their peer review services. More specifically, this award recognizes those who 鈥済o that extra kilometre鈥� by providing timely, detailed, and constructive peer reviews, and their outstanding and continuous support of the journal.
