CES Portal Reports

Instructor Report  

This report includes responses to all Common Core, Discipline, and personalized Instructor questions. It is designed to provide insight into students' learning experience for instructors. Instructors can use this report to reflect on their teaching practices and identify strengths and opportunities for professional development. 

Course Report

This report only includes responses to Common Core and Discipline Questions and excludes responses to the personalized Instructor questions. It is designed for departmental use and is accessed by academic unit leadership (e.g. Chairs, Directors, Deans, etc.) and administrative staff requiring access to fulfill their responsibilities. Instructors also have access this report. These reports can be used for professional development and course design discussions, and as part of the tenure, promotion1,2, and review process3.

A low response version of these reports will be generated for course surveys with less than 5 respondents.


1 Course Experience Survey data can be used as an indirect measure of teaching performance for tenure and promotion decisions, but needs to be applied within the scope of the ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Faculty Association (¶¡ÏãÔ°AVFA) Collective Agreement (Articles 28.5 to 28.15; 2022-2025).

2 Course Reports are provided with and without student comments in line with the ¶¡ÏãÔ°AVFA Collective Agreement.

Course Experience Survey data can be used within the scope of the Teaching and Support Staff Union (TSSU) Collective Agreement (Article XVIII C, D, E, J).
