Robyn Roscoe is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) with nearly 20 years of experience in the management of large health research projects, and 30 years of experience in project management in the scientific and technical fields. After hosting several successful workshops with SBN, Robyn is now leading this learning opportunity for undergraduates and graduate students to benefit from.

The effect of passive cycling on cardiac function and spasticity
Will a machine pedaling your legs help your heart?
We are conducting a research study to find the answer. We are looking for men and women aged 19-50 years with and without Spinal Cord Injury to take part in a study examining the effects of passive and active cycling on the heart.
You can help improve the treatment of spinal cord injuries, strokes, and other neurologic illness.
Your participation in this study will involve tests of your heart function, and will take about 1.5 hours. This will be done while you sit in a wheelchair and have your feet pedaled by a bicycle-like machine.

Behaviour Interventionist Opportunity
Stepping Stones Consultants is an agency seeking individuals interested in working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other disorders (ADHD/ADD, ODD, GAD, etc.) in the role of a Behaviour Interventionist (BI). The successful candidate will implement a home-based therapy program under the guidance of a Board-Certified Behaviour Consultant (BC). Therapy includes working 1:1 sessions targeting play, academic, social, communication, self-management, and self-care skills.
This position is perfect for those with a background in/goals towards a career in speech-language pathology, education, psychology, social services, rehabilitation sciences, occupational therapy, and the like.
Compensation:
$15 per hour, increasing to $20 per hour after the first 3-month probationary period, with opportunities for raises every 6 months thereafter.
Qualifications:
- Energetic, punctual, patient, and interested in supporting growth in children
- At least 19 years of age
- Have strong communication and play skills
- Able to commit to the position for at least 6 months
- Having your own vehicle is an asset

The Association of Canadian Ergonomists (ACE) is recruiting a new student representative!
The Association of Canadian Ergonomists - BC/Yukon Region is recruiting a new Student Representative. This volunteer position runs from January 2023 - December 2024. The council host meetings once a month via Zoom along with year-round in-person/online events.

Tasks include:
- Attend BC/Yukon Regional Meeting
- To act as a non-voting member of the council
- To liaise with and represent the interests of the student body
- To promote regional events to the student body
- To assist the Program Coordinator with Regional projects
- To attend the ACE National Student Committee (NSC) monthly meetings via Zoom as well.
Minimal requirement:
- Attending monthly 1-hour regional council meetings via Zoom
- Engage in regional communication/activities for 1-2 hours per month
