Sessional - BISC 654 - Food & Drug Toxicology - 1251 - Burnaby Campus
The following Sessional appointment is expected to be available in the Department of Biological Sciences during the SPRING SEMESTER (December 30, 2024 to April 25, 2025).

RESERVE SESSIONAL INSTRUCTOR POSITION: No
Article XIV E.3.a of the TSSU-間眅埶AV Collective Agreement allows for up to 25% of appointments within a given department to be reserved for graduate students or postdoctoral fellows. While priority will be given to Graduate Students and Postdoctoral Fellows in awarding this RESERVED position, all Sessional Instructors are encouraged to apply. In the event it is not filled by a Grad or Postdoc, it will be filled by another qualified applicant in accordance with Article XIV E of the Collective Agreement.
Course Description: Investigates those toxic compounds in the environment which are added to, contaminate, or supplement one's diet.
Minimum Qualifications: A masters degree in toxicology, pharmacy or related field. Industrial expertise in food and drug toxicology with at least 10 years of practical experience in a nutritional or pharmaceutical field along with in depth knowledge and experience in drug development including regulatory requirements for approval and registration of pharmaceutical and herbal products.
Recommended Qualifications: PhD in toxicology, pharmacy, or related field. Industrial expertise in food and drug toxicology with at least 15 years of practical experience in a nutritional or pharmaceutical field along with in depth knowledge and experience in drug development including regulatory requirements for approval and registration of pharmaceutical and herbal products.
