Binary Bracelets at Destination Imagination

March 03, 2018

This activity was hosted at and promoted by .

For this activity, the WWEST Yukon team helped kids to create binary bracelets, wherein the kids spelled out the initials of their name in binary. Instead of the letters being represented by numbers, they were represented by two different coloured beads. The activity was a good opportunity to explain what binary code is, how it works, and why it is important. And they got to keep their bracelets.
