Planning to become a teacher?
The Bachelor of Studies (BGS) in Education is a good route for students pursuing teaching at the elementary level. To prepare to apply to the Professional Development Program (PDP – our 16 month fulltime teacher education program), you should enroll in the pre-requisite courses listed on PDP ¶¡ÏãÔ°AVs.
Planning to teach at the secondary level? You will need to complete either a major or two minors in teachable subject areas in order to apply to the Professional Development Program at the secondary level. See specific academic requirements on PDP ¶¡ÏãÔ°AVs. You should apply directly from high school to the appropriate faculty and program for your teachable subject area(s).
