Navigation
Use the View Switcher to navigate between the Mail, Calendar, People, Tasks, and Notes system modules by clicking the icons located in the bottom left-hand corner of the application.
The Home, Organize, and Tools tabs at the top of the application display the Ribbon, which features different functionality and commands depending on the tab and the system module you are in.
The Home tab contains the most common commands, like creating a new email in the Mail module, or a new meeting in the Calendar module. The image below shows the Home tab for the Mail module.
The Organize tab contains commands like ceating a New Folder in the Mail module, or creating a New Calendar in the Calendar module. The image below shows the Organize tab for the Mail module.
The Tools tab remains the same throughout all the system modules, and gives you access to manage your accounts and switch between online or offine mode.
You can also access many of the commands and features found in the various tabs in the Menu Bar at the top of the application. Click the Outlook button, then Preferences... to access different settings options.
