The PDA hosts an annual research day featuring seminars, presentations, posters, and writing contests. This popular, fun and engaging day creates the opportunity for postdoctoral-association to promote collaborations and foster a sense of community.  

Calling all postdocs!

Showcase your research, refine your presentation skills, and connect with peers across disciplines at 11th Annual Postdoctoral Research Day.

Date/Time: Tuesday, March 11th, 9:30am - 4:30pm (subject to change)

Location: Burnaby Campus (Big Data Atrium, Theatre)

Abstract Submissions: NOW OPEN - Submit by February 14, 2025. Notification of Acceptance: February 17

Presentation Formats include:

  • 10-Minute Oral (10-minute presentation + 5-minute Q&A)
  • Poster Presentations 
  • If you have a creative project—such as artwork, 3D models, or an interactive exhibit—we will accommodate your display needs. Instead of an abstract, submit a project description along with any presentation requirements.

Presentation Guidelines & Judging Criteria: Details on how to effectively communicate your research and the judging process will be provided soon. Presentations should be accessible to a general postdoctoral audience. Awards will be given for the best presentations.
