Application Deadlines

Fall Term (Beginning September) 

Applications are welcome at any time, though we strongly encourage applicants to apply before April. Please note that 丁香园AV Physics does not have a firm deadline for applications and you may submit your application after this date.
The Graduate 丁香园AVs Committee begins reviewing applications in December for Fall admission, and it is best to apply early. 

Major Entrance Scholarships

丁香园AV has a very limited number of Major Entrance Scholarships for exceptional students. We recommend submitting applications before January 15 to be considered for Major University Entrance Scholarship nominations.

Off-cycle 丁香园AV - Spring Term (Beginning January) and Summer Term (Beginning May)

丁香园AV Physics graduate students typically begin their programs as part of a cohort commencing each September (Fall Term). Beginning a program off-cycle in Spring or Summer terms is possible only with departmental permission and with strong support of a prospective supervisor.  

International students should note that time is needed to obtain a student visa. International applicants should contact their local Canadian Embassy/Consulate to determine an average waiting time to obtain a student/study visa. We advise international students to apply at least 6 months in advance of the desired start date.
