Recruit Tomorrow's Talent

³§¹ó±«â€™s&²Ô²ú²õ±è; is focused on high technology. All students receive a strong foundation in electronic and software engineering principles, and complete work terms in companies ranging from global technology companies to the newest local start-up. Undergraduate students complete a minimum of 3 work terms during their degree.

Students are trained in computer programming, software design, data structures, combinational logic design, testing and debugging, and computer architecture. They learn the principles of electronics, including assembly language programming, electrical circuits and elements, circuit laws and network theorems, integrated circuit design, and analog and digital electronics, such as semiconductors and transistor amplifiers. Students gain hands-on lab experience including knowledge of electronics equipment, circuit simulation, soldering techniques, and lab and worker safety. Communication and ethics courses train students to think critically about technical, social, and ethical issues.

By their senior Co-op terms, undergraduate students have chosen a specialization in , , , , or . Graduate students can conduct research in .
