Lucas Herrenbrueck interviewed on inflation concerns in post-COVID economy

Associate professor was recently quoted in a examining the rise of inflation as the economy recovers from the pandemic. 

According to Herrenbrueck, "Inflation conjures up negative connotations for many people, but low levels of it are often a sign of economic growth". 

“Inflation, being a little bit higher as we are recovering from the pandemic is just normal. It’s just not something to react to; it’s like seeing it rain in Vancouver."

Herrenbrueck's research interests include macroeconomics, monetary economics, and economic theory. Earlier this year, he published a paper in the Journal of Mathematical Economics examining .
