Drop-in Workshops
Every semester, the Department of Economics offers free daily drop-in workshops to support students on their writing and technical skills.
All students enrolled in an Economics course this semester are eligible to attend the workshops.
NOTE: The TAs facilitating the workshops can only provide general support. For course specific questions (eg. assignments guidelines, grading, due dates, etc), please contact your TA or instructor for that course.
FALL 2024 Schedule
The workshops are available according to the schedule below (Vancouver time, PDT). To access the Zoom workshops sign into the Technical Workshop Canvas course using your ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV login:
- Monday: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm (Zoom)
- Tuesday: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm (WMC 2506)
- Wednesday: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm (WMC 2506)
- Thursday: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm (Zoom)
- Friday: 1:30 pm - 3:00 pm (Zoom)

Writing Workshop
Need help with your writing assignments? The TA facilitating the workshop is trained to help coach you in the right direction by providing academic writing support and useful tips and tricks on how to improve your writing.
