Luba Petersen featured in ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Scholarly Impact of the Week series
Associate professor ’s research paper on central bank communication was recently featured by ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV (¶¡ÏãÔ°AV) as part of their Scholarly Impact of the Week series.
Updated weekly, ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV's Scholarly Impact of the Week is selected by the Office of the Vice-President, Research and International to celebrate scholarly milestones and research impacts from across the ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV research community.
Co-authored with Bank of Canada economist Oleksiy Kryvtsov, the paper explored the effects of monetary policy and central bank communication to stabilize and guide markets. The paper suggests that central banks can improve public trust and comprehension by communicating with relatable language.
