Field Practice Program | Responsibility of the Agency Field Supervisor
Students are to be assigned an experienced supervisor in the agency. Where practical, the student should work directly with or in close conjunction with the supervisor. In all cases, students and supervisors should meet on a regular basis to discuss progress, problems, and future work requirements.

Who is responsible for supervising the student?
The agency is responsible for assigning an experienced supervisor to the student. Where practical the student should work directly with or in close conjunction with the supervisor.
How often should the supervisor meet with the student?
The student and supervisor should meet on a regular basis to discuss progress, problems and future work requirements.
How are the student’s daily tasks assigned?
The supervisor is responsible for outlining and coordinating the student’s placement responsibilities, and ensuring that the student is well aware of his/her responsibilities.
Is the supervisor responsible for evaluating the student’s work?
Yes, the supervisor is responsible for completing a mid-term and final evaluation of the student’s performance in the field and submitting these to the field placement coordinator.
