biography
In Memoriam: 1922-2006
Hamish Dickie-Clark received his BA at Rhodes University and PhD from the University of Natal. He retired in 1987. His areas of research included sociological theory; A. Giddens’ theory of structuration; the comparative study of race/ethnic conflicts, especially in Southern Africa; and sociology of knowledge.
