Learn how to effectively use the search tool within the different modules, Mail, Calendar, and People, in the Outlook for PC desktop application.

2. A new search tab will open in the ribbon, providing options for further narrowing your search. Clicking these will allow you to easily search for all items From a certain user, or with a certain Subject. You can also use these buttons to specify more specific criteria such as emails that have attachments.
3. Once you have modified your search criteria, the messages that match that criteria will be retrieved and displayed in your message list.
4. To exit your search and return to the Inbox, click the Close Search button on the right-hand side of the ribbon.
1. To search within the Calendar module, click the search bar in the top right-hand corner of the calendar.
