IMPORTANT INFORMATION

APPLYING FOR TEACHING ASSISTANT (TA) OR TRUE SCHOLARSHIP POSITIONS

To apply for a and receive your TA pay or true scholarship, you must have both a Canadian bank account and a Canadian Social Insurance Number (SIN). Once you have fulfilled these requirements and have arrived in Canada, you are eligible to apply for a TA position (refer to TA/TM/SI postings) or a True Scholarship position (contact a potential supervisor).
 

BEGINNING YOUR PROGRAM

1) ACTIVATE OR APPLY FOR YOUR:

2) FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV’S GRADUATE GENERAL REGULATIONS (GGR)

3) CONNECT WITH YOUR SUPERVISOR TO DISCUSS:

  • Plans, goals, and research for each term
  • Courses you will need to enroll in for the term to ensure that you meet the overall program requirements: PhD
  • SEE financial support 

4) ATTEND THE FACULTY OF APPLIED SCIENCES AND SEE ORIENTATION EVENTS

You will receive an email invitation to attend orientation events during your first few weeks in the program.

5) CONNECT WITH SEE GRADUATE STUDENT ASSOCIATION

The SEE Graduate Student Association (SEEGSA) supports and advances the academic, professional, and social experience of SEE graduate students. Please note that all SEE graduate students are members of SEEGSA.
