  1. Support students doing research into topics connected to Scottish history, literature, and culture.
  2. Sponsor talks, conferences, and other events that merge scholarly and public interests, including the annual St. Andrew's and Caledonian Society lecture.
  3. Work closely with individuals and groups in the community to build a network of support for Scottish studies.
