2013, Summit Charting BC's Economic Future, Economy, Democracy

The future we want. What does it look like? What will it take?

In an increasingly competitive global economy, with growing environmental concerns and levels of inequality, British Columbians need to start working together to promote the wellbeing of our province and its residents. Recognizing this, ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Public Square’s 2013 Community Summit focused on the theme: Charting A New Course For BC’s Economic Future.

The Our Future, Our Voice Youth Forum kick started the 2013 Community Summit: Charting BC's Economic Future.

Designed for youth, by youth, the forum was a chance to grapple with economic issues, make new connections, and contribute to a Citizen’s Agenda for BC’s Economic Future.

The forum was recommended for those between the ages of 16 and 25, however anyone identifying as a youth was welcomed.

About Charting BC's Economic Future

For our second ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV Public Square Community Summit, we explored issues regarding BC's economic future. Faced with an increasingly competitive global economy, it is more important than ever that British Columbians find ways to work together on a common agenda for promoting the well-being of the province and its citizens. This Community Summit invited participation from residents across the province to discuss British Columbia’s economic future.
