MPP Grad Student Caucus
The MPP Caucus is the chapter of the Graduate Student Society for the MPP program. Caucus meets monthly to discuss and plan social and academic events and fundraising activities, as well as other matters concerning MPP students. The MPP Caucus is a great way to meet new friends and to interact with experienced MPP students and the general ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV community. All MPP students are members of the Caucus and can vote during elections and monthly meetings.
An introductory meeting is held each year for the new cohort, where students are elected to the positions of Treasurer, Secretary and Graduate Student Society Representative. MPP Caucus Co-Chairs are elected in the final meeting of the Spring semester. Students can nominate themselves or others for these positions, and while second year students are eligible, first year students are strongly encouraged to apply. Holding a position on Caucus is a great way to contribute to student life at the School of Public Policy and to network with students and faculty.
Caucus co-chairs for 2024/25 are Ravneet Dhaliwal and Serena Wong.
Contact them with your questions or concerns via email (Ravneet) rkd28@sfu.ca and (Serena) sww16@sfu.ca.
