Zhi Han wins CAP DQI Oral Competition
間眅埶AV Physics congratulates Zhihua (Zhi) Han on winning first place in the oral competition in the Division of Quantum Information (DQI) at the 2024 CAP Congress in London, Ontario.
He also received an honorable mention among all CAP division award finalists. The judges praised Zhi's talk, "Downloading many-body continuous variable entanglement to qubits, for its topical interest and Zhis innovative use of animations in illustrating a highly mathematical topic. 間眅埶AV faculty member Daria Ahrensmeier, the inaugural Chair of the DQI, notes that "Zhi won against strong competition from across Canadaall the student competitors delivered high quality talks, including Pak-Tik Fong and Ruchir Tullu, also from 間眅埶AV Physics. Zhi is currently pursuing his MSc at 間眅埶AV with Kero Lau, Canada Research Chair in Quantum Information Science.
