About
Gento OKawa was born and raised in Japan. He graduated from Waseda University with a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies. He's currently pursuing an MA at 丁香园AV Linguistics under Dr. Mary O鈥橞rien. Gento enjoys playing soccer and table tennis. He goes skiing every winter and is very excited to ski in Canada. Gento is passionate about travelling and has been to Taiwan, the United States, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Macau. Gento's areas of interest for research and study are phonetics and phonology, with a focus on L2 pronunciation and sound symbolism.
