About

Zeinab Naderpour (Zenita) holds a BA in Japanese Language and Literature from the University of Tehran, and an MA in Japanese Applied Linguistics from Ochanomizu University, Tokyo. She is currently pursuing a PhD degree in Linguistics at ¶¡ÏãÔ°AV.

Her research interests include Sociolinguistics, Second Language Acquisition, World Englishes, and Phonology. She is particularly interested in the Sociolinguistic profile of English in Expanding Circle countries exploring the fascinating interplay between cultures, histories, and language policies. When she is not decoding linguistic mysteries, you can find her mastering the art of brushstrokes on canvas, plotting her next chess move, or shooting hoops.
