About
I鈥檓 a graduate student in Linguistics, working on phonetics and sociolinguistics. My research interests involve looking at the variations within languages, and their relationships with speakers. My primary focus includes the dialectology in Canadian/American English and its Asian Canadian/American variant. My thesis focuses on studying the front vowel space of Asian Canadians in BC English.
