IS graduate Nooria Sarhadi on deepening passion for social justice
Nooria Sarhadi recently graduated with a double major in International Studies and Political Science. Her profound interest in global issues, cultural diversity, and the complexities of international relations led her to choose the International Studies program at 間眅埶AV. Reflecting on her academic journey, Sarhadi shared, This program not only opened up a wide array of career opportunities but also allowed me to deepen my passion for social justice through every class.
Throughout her studies, Sarhadi was inspired and supported by several wonderful faculty members. I had the privilege of learning from exceptional professors like Jason Stearns, Elizabeth Cooper, and Amyn Sajoo, she recalls. They not only deepened my passion for my majors but also acted as mentors, supporting me in various ways. She credits these dedicated educators with enriching her Bachelor of Arts in International Studies experience, emphasizing that their enthusiasm and willingness to share their knowledge and lived experiences were invaluable.
