The Paris Action AI Summit was an ambitious initiative to promote international cooperation on applications of Artificial Intelligence. On its global governance track however the failure of the US and UK to sign on to its concluding document (while China and India did) highlighted the fragmentation of approaches to developing norms of AI global governance.
