Thomas Girard to Present at the 21st International Conference on New Directions in the Humanities

GLS student Thomas Girard returns to New Directions in the Humanities in 2023 after winning the Emerging Scholar Award and presenting at its 2021 conference.

Girard has been accepted as a presenting delegate at the , hosted at Sorbonne Universit矇, Paris, in June 2023. The conference's theme is Literary Landscapes: Forms of Knowledge in the Humanities, and Girard will be presenting a paper on .

Girards writing has also been featured in the Ormsby Review, which posted two of his recent essays,  and , and a .

GLS endowments

Todays GLS students are like many others living through a prolonged pandemic. Some are suffering financial stress due to job losses or layoffs. In recognition of GLS program's 30th Anniversary we are seeking to enhance the endowments that support the various awards for GLS students in need.
