Climate Action Secretariat (CAS):
This mixed-methods research project was intended to support the development of the Climate Preparedness and Adaptation Strategy for BC by providing research and analysis of the impacts of climate change on diverse populations in BC to the Climate Action Secretariat in a partnership with the SHIFT collaborative. This was done through the development of an enhanced analysis of existing numeric data, GIS modelling and a community case study to provide an in-depth understanding of how flooding impacted diverse populations within the local community. The work was informed by the crucial guidance of an Indigneous Advisory Circle.
